About the Role
We are looking for an ITI-qualified Electrician to join our team at the mine site. The role
involves handling electrical installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring
uninterrupted network Supply for mining operations.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for electrical installation and integration of company equipment on
mining machinery (trucks, diggers, and other heavy equipment), along with
troubleshooting electrical issues and ensuring timely solutions to reduce
downtime.
• Inspect and test electrical components, wiring, and equipment regularly.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures while working
in hazardous mine environments.
• Maintain logs, reports, and documentation of work performed.
• Coordinate with supervisors and other technical teams for smooth operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• ITI certification in Electrical (Electrician trade).
• Minimum 0– 2 of experience in electrical work (mining or industrial sector
preferred).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and safety practices.
• Ability to work in a challenging mine-site environment with extended working hours
(54 hours/week, 6 days working).
• Physically fit and willing to work in field conditions.
